Melbourne Philharmonia Project proudly presents its' second concert of their 2016 season. "Solitary Pathways" will be an experience that aims to bring the audience on an invigorating journey. We continue our focus on the works of Sculthorpe as we begin with his seminal work “Earth Cry”. One of Australia’s most exciting young Cellists Jovan Pantelich joins MPP in Elgar’s fiery Cello Concerto in E Minor that promises to be a performance not be missed. Jean Sibelius’ stirring 1st Symphony rounds out the concert with ideas which evoke that of the cosmos.

We at MPP view our events less as concerts but more as an experience. Although our first concert was an incredible success we aim to take it to the next level! More lights, jazz quartets before and at interval, a larger section from Melbourne’s Micro Breweries just to name a few refinements. Join us and see what our team has been up to!
